Week 3 #keepyourcoolchallenge - From Balance to Clarity

Hi there beautiful, busy mama!

Can you believe we are half way through our #keepyourcoolchallenge already? How’s it going for you?

  • Are you “over it”?
  • Loving it?
  • Taking time for you?
  • Are you able to slow down, smell the roses (essential oil blends) and appreciate the awesome life that you have?

This last week took me by surprise. Between my dad’s hospital stays and some personal decisions I need to make, I found my emotions swinging from one extreme to the other. It’s easy to get carried away by worry of the future! On the days where I truly took time for me to soak in the aroma of WATER::BALANCE and allow my emotions to flow without judgment, I was MUCH better off!

You’d think after 55 years, I’d have this figured out; some days are better than others! Taking one day at a time, showing some love and compassion to self and others, and knowing that I deserve to take care of me, are practices I have to remind myself of daily. Otherwise, it’s EASY to lose my cool! I am recommitting to be kind to myself, and hope that you will take the next two weeks (and beyond!) to be kind to you.

Week 3:  Clear your mind of the clutter

Our focus during week 3 of the #keepyourcoolchallenge is on mental clarity using AIR::FOCUS. This essential oil blend of Rosemary, Peppermint, Cypress, Cardamom, Thyme, Petitgrain, and Lemongrass, not only helps energize your body and mind, but it helps improve mental acuity, clarity, and focus. Let me ask you something…. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being always and 1 being never, how often are your thoughts focused on the things (and people!) that matter most to you?

If you scored lower than you’d like, what is one thing you can do this week (in addition to your #keepyourcoolchallenge routine) to help you focus your thoughts on that which matters most? Consider having some fun putting together a dream / vision board (your kids, I’m sure, would love to do this!). Or take some time to jot down some of your biggest desires and priorities for your life. (These are things that you desire for you… not what other people desire for you!)
